Looks like it's time to unlock Golden Hills!
First I have to talk to the councilman.
He says he's worried that the gate to Golden Hills isn't open yet. Usually the mayor locks the gates just for the winter, to protect people from snow ghosts and magical creatures or something. That's...an interesting reason a whole part of the map was shut away...
He tells me to go look at a picture in the castle that's of the mayor and the key to the gate, which he keeps around his neck
That's a very large key, sir. You always wear this? Does it not get heavy?
So I get the idea to take a picture of this painting and then give the picture to the blacksmith so he can make a copy of the key. Genius, I know.
But I gotta go borrow James' camera

And then I take the picture and take it to the post man to be developed.
Turns out he used to be a professional photographer?? What's he doing being a post man then?
And then of course I take the picture to Conrad, the blacksmith, so he can make me the key.
He makes me fetch him some iron from the mines and help him with the first few steps with that fun-at-first-but-got-old-fast minigame where he tells me to heat it in the forge, cool it in the water, or shape it on the anvil.
Then he tells me I gotta come back tomorrow.
