I’m a little late, but it’s time to do some more story quests.
First things first, Maya asked for a ride to the apple orchard, where the soulriders are doing some training.
The soulriders were planning a training session where Alex will zap apples off of trees and Anne will gather them. I guess we’re pretend the apples are bombs we gotta dismantle. Okay, sure.
Anne complains that this is pointless and somehow that ends with me being roped into the game, too. I guess Anne needs someone to compete against.
After our little race, Anne lets us know her horse of the day is named Blondie, which I think is very important information.
Anne pulls me aside to talk to me alone. She says all this waiting is pointless, what are we waiting for? Her mom was a soul rider and she walked away, Elizabeth was a soul rider before she lost her horse. If Anne leaves the soul riders, is she a coward? She’s just very angry. Honestly I don’t blame her. She’s been through a lot.
As soon as we return to the others, Lisa sends a text that Fripp is worse and we need to go see him, so we all travel back to the stone circle together.
Avalon says Fripp’s fading, and he means it literally. Fripp is transparent, fading in and out. That seems very bad.
his character model update looks pretty great tho
Evergray says earth itself is rejecting him and he was exiled during the cataclysm that linked the two worlds so he can’t go back to pandoria. His body has nowhere to go.
We need a miracle.
Or, a magical five-leaf clover, made even more magically potent by yours truly.
Anne questions what a clover can do, and Linda explains that Pi used clovers like this to transform horses for Dark Core.
That’s all well and good, but we need someone who knows what they’re doing with witch magic. Time to find Mrs Holdsworth again.
She knew we were coming, creepily enough, and referenced getting Ydris’ help as well. Linda doesn’t sound too pleased at the idea, but Mrs Holdworth seems very sure we need circus boy’s help.
So Linda and I went to get Ydris
