Evergray had me take him all the way to Moorland only to make me take him to the Stonecutter’s vault instead? Come on, man
I don’t have the trailer, or balloon rather, to Nic Stoneground’s camp yet and I was worried I’d have to run all the way from Valedale but Icengate has a balloon again so crisis averted. Kinda. That’s still a really long way to go on poor Chance who isn’t cold tolerant
At least it’s pretty
It took a while, but we got there. Evergray seems pretty chummy with this ghost guy. Magnus I think his name is?
I guess Evergray is too old and sick to be making keystones anymore, but they agree it’s far too much to try and train me to do it. This is something that takes years, decades even, to learn to do properly. I ain’t got time for that.
In comes the blacksmith from Moorland. Apparently Evergray was talking to him and that’s why we stopped there. He agreed to learn, and since he already has so much experience blacksmithing, he’s a lot closer to knowing how to make keystones than I am.
Well I guess we just leave them to it then.
Evergray and I met up outside and were just about to take off when we heard a buzzing.
Looks like Dark Core’s got drones spying on us. We better hurry back to the Stone Circle where they can’t follow.
As soon as we get there, Linda let’s us know she’s found something on finding Concorde.
He was last seen when he and Anne were taken by the Dark Riders. Our best bet on finding him is to get a Dark Rider to tell us where he is. But they’re not just gonna tell us that, of course, so we’ll have to make them. I guess there’s a way to challenge someone to a race and they have to accept and the winner can ask for literally anything.
The plan is to lure one of the Dark Riders to us and then force them into one of these races. If we win, they have to tell us where Concorde is.
It just so happens that Evergray and I just found the perfect way to lure a Dark Rider to us, too. Those drones that have been spying on us are the perfect way to lay some bait.
Lisa and I went out into the open and said some fake story about Fripp being moved from the Stone Circle. A weakened Fripp outside the protection of the circle? How could they possibly resist?
Side note: Lisa is a terrible actor. She was talking shakespearean. Girl, stop, you’re gonna blow the whole operation
This little guy heard us talking and soon enough…
Oop, looks like we got one. And it’s Katja, even. Now to lure her to our ambush spot
Got her! Linda challenged her to a race and she apparently has no choice but to accept. She told us to meet her on top of Scarecrow hill. Wow, real original.
After she left, Alex mentioned she’s raced her there before and it didn’t go so well last time. Ruh roh, sounds like Katja likes to play dirty. And of course they all volunteered me to be the one to race her. Y'all just sending me in because I’m the one you would care the least about if I die, aren’t you
