Okay okay, back on topic. He gave us a ride and then we started our long trek through Dino Valley, made so much longer by Chance being too cold to go faster than a canter.
Right around here I got a cutscene where it appeared we were being watched, and Evergray said he heard hoofsteps. That’s ominous.

Evergray complained something about these being shut down because old druid people decided they were too witchy, making them evil. He apparently stole a keystone that can get this portal linked to one in Epona.
