Alex has had enough of this evil guy monologuing and you know what? She’s so valid, I’m tired of it too.
Time for some lightning circle zapping
This only make Darko angry tho, whoops.
He summoned himself a monster for us to fight. The monster that just happens to be the guy who turned himself into a monster while trying to make super horses. Yeah, remember that Nightdust storyline?
Anyway, Alex and I worked together to take him down. It was just a matter of running up and zapping him and then running for our lives until he got tired of chasing us again.
When he was defeated we found that Darko had disappeared. Back to getting Anne out, I guess.
Alex had the idea of zapping the crystals but we were afraid that might zap Anne too.
As we were debating it, Concorde ran forward
She simply kicked and smashed the crystals, releasing her soul rider. What an adorable little genius i love her so much
Anne seems for the most part okay. She asked us what took us so long to save her which upset Alex until she said she was only kidding and she knew we would save her.
She asked where Concorde was and got real mad when she learned he died. She swore revenge. Like revenge specifically, not justice. Usually I’m :/ about that but like…that’s her horse dude you don’t just kill someone’s soul bond horse. She can be as angry and violent as she wants, I think
She recognized me as the person who came to see her before, and thanked me for coming back to save her.
Of course Darko’s gotta interrupt our little reunion.
He’s trying to close our portal and trap us here forever. We’d better get out of here. I gave Anne a ride, since she obviously can’t ride little Concorde
we made it through the portal just in time, but
the inbetween is falling apart and none of the other soul riders are in sight. We’re on our own.
Anne and I made our way through as best we could with the ground falling underneath us
we made it back, but wait, why is Alex not with Tin-can?
He said she went after Darko! By herself?! Alex why would you do that
Elizabeth ran into the portal to go after her, and I followed close behind
