It’s finally time to actually go on the Light Ride

Linda told the others to go on ahead so she could talk to me first. She said it’s important. Oh no

She said after I left her place she had a vision about this ride. Apparently she saw me, but not me. I guess the me who is not me had a message and it’s “listen to the echo.”

Linda also said “I know, as surely as the moon is round, you are in grave danger” which is real comforting.

On that happy note, let’s hurry up and join the others, shall we?

Hey guys, we definitely weren’t doing anything cryptic and ominous or anything

We all moved on up the trail, the others reminiscing about their first Light Ride together and how reluctant Anne was to be there.

We made it to this cool stone circle thing

Since the Light Ride usually lasts long into the night, it’s tradition to stop here and feed your horse some clovers

It’s a good thing there’s plenty to go around, cause it sounds like Meteor and Concorde both took more than their fair share

Eat up, Chance. You deserve all the treats in the world for how much running around I make you do

Break time’s over! Onward up the trail!

As we left, Linda explained that the Light Ride is meant to retrace Aideen’s first steps on the island. The highlight of the ride is when we pass through Aideen’s Whisper, a crack in the mountain where it’s said the goddess will speak to those who are lost.

Alex asked Linda if she heard anything when she went through Aideen’s Whisper last Light Ride. She said no, but she had lots of strange dreams afterward. I guess when you’re part of the Moon Circle, Aideen has other ways of contacting you.

Lisa said she saw something. She lied when they asked her about it last time, but she really did see something. She saw her mother. She apologized for keeping it from them all this time, but it was personal. I don’t think any of us would hold a grudge against you because you didn’t share that you saw your recently deceased mother, Lisa.

Finally, we made it to Aideen’s Whisper.
